The Bridge (2011)

Episode Overview

The chairperson of the Malmo city council is discovered murdered on the Øresund bridge, which connects Copenhagen and Malmo, with the body gruesomely severed at the waist. Detective Saga Norén from Malmo CID is assigned to investigate and quickly uncovers that the lower half of the body belongs to an unidentified Danish woman. This forces her to collaborate with her Danish partner, Martin Rohde, who finds her unconventional behavior somewhat frustrating. Meanwhile, Göran Söringer is admitted to Copenhagen's Rigshospitalet for a much-needed heart transplant.
